Prof. Peter Dettmar,

Managing Director
Former Global Research and Development Director - Gastrointestinals for Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare (UK) Limited with extensive experience in running product development programmes and clinical trials and over thirty years experience of the pharmaceutical industry. Peter has been appointed to a Special Professorship within the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham and is Adjunct Professor, Director of Research, Centre for Voice and Swallowing Disorders, Department of Otolaryngology, Wake Forest University Medical Centre, USA. Peter is a named inventor on over 25 patents, has supervised more than 70 successful Ph.D studentships and has authored or co-authored over 350 scientific publications. Peter has special interest in reflux disease, pepsin, mucosal protection, bioadhesion, H. pylori, nutrition, dietary fibres / functional foods, polymers / biopolymers and cell biology. Peter is the pivotal member of the international research and clinical networks that are core to Technostics research and product development.
Dr. Craig Richardson,
B.Pharm, PhD, MRPharmS
Director
Craig manages the commercialisation of new technologies that originate from Technostics’ product development activities. He is responsible for the design and execution of strategies to ensure early stage technologies progress through proof of concept to a commercially attractive end point. Prior to joining Technostics, Craig worked at the University of Nottingham and Glaxo Wellcome undertaking various roles in technology transfer and research and development. Craig has a first class honours degree in Pharmacy from Cardiff University and a PhD from the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham.
Mr. Harvey Dettmar,
BSc (Hons), MBA
Director
Harvey has extensive experience in business management and product development in the financial markets arena including technical, budgetary, project management and team leader responsibilities. Harvey is responsible for the business development and finances at Technostics.
Harvey has a first class honours degree in Information Technology and an MBA from the Open University.
Dr. Vicki Strugala, PhD, BSc (Hons)
Vicki obtained her PhD from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the area of gastrointestinal physiology. She has a first class honours degree in Physiological Sciences and a diploma in Sports Nutrition. Whilst working in the pharmaceutical industry Vicki has also gained experience in the application of biopolymers for the treatment of gastrointestinal disease.
Vicki, as research and project manger, is responsible for coordinating customer and ‘in-house’ projects and with the assistance of the dedicated team at Technostics ensures customer satisfaction through the whole process.
